It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Beatrice Caterina Nizzi of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Donati and Laura Donati (Nizzi); her husband Frank J. Nizzi; and her brother Giovanni. She is survived by: her daughters, Loretta Benz of Iowa City, Marisa Jones (Scott) of Ames and Linda Giambi (Andrea) of Minnesota; her grandchildren, Eric Jones (Sara), Kathryn Benz (Michael Hand), Marcus Jones (Nicol), Cristina Benz and Stephan Giambi; her great grandchildren, Carter Jones, Gianna Jones, Grant Jones, Dominic Jones, Emmett Hand and Katelyn Jones; and her sisters, Lucrezia Nizzi and Maria Rosa Bernardi.
Facemasks and social distancing are required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mary Greeley Israel Family Hospice House of Ames or St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
