Austin Michael Sheets Obituary
Austin Michael Sheets, age 22, of Ames, IA, passed away suddenly, February 11th, 2024. Austin was born in Knoxville, TN on January 4th, 2002. He attended Bearden High School until he moved to Iowa in 2019 where he graduated from Creston High School in 2020. Austin was attending classes at Iowa State University while working as a manager of a landscaping company. Austin enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, farming, and spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his parents, Amy Rymer-Sheets and boyfriend Robert Jenkins, and Scott and Tracy Sheets; brother, Devin Sheets and girlfriend Kaylee; sister, Madison Sheets and boyfriend Bill; step-sister, Josee Jenkins; grandparents, Rosalyn Rymer, Duane Rymer, Tom and Carol Sheets; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Austin will be deeply missed by all. His infectious smile and impish humor have touched so many. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 18th, 2024, 5:00-7:00 PM, in the Click Funeral Home Chapel, Farragut. There will be an opportunity to share your favorite memories of Austin.
