It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Bates of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Bates (Bud) and Doloros Bates (Bond); his wife Nancy Bates; his daughter JoEllen Walker; his grandchildren, Riley and Delaney Walker; his son Will (Rebecca Bates); and his brother Jim Bates (Arlene).
Due to Covid 19 we will ask that you wear masks and social distance when able.
