Alicen Rose Morley Obituary

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Patricia (Pierce), Lawrence Lawton and Henry Morley; and her aunt Marion Lawton (Johnson). She is survived by: her daughter Charlotte Clarke Morley; her granddaughter Olivia Ryan Lee; her husband Kristopher Michael Lee; her daughter Olivia Ryan Lee; her mother Susan Elaine; her stepfather Mitchell John Shannon; her father Thomas Scott Morley; her brother Jonathan Thomas Morley (Jeanette Delorme); her nephew Jonathan Cash Morley; her sister Emily Patricia Morley (William Moeglein); her siblings-in-law, Donna Marie Lee (Kateridge), Christopher Paul Lee and Rachel Ann Lee; and her pets, Lily, Abby, Avery and Olive. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was adored by hundreds of students during her 5 year tenure, and continued to find success, earning the Iowa Council for the Social Studies Teacher of the Year in 2017, the National Council for the Social Studies Teacher of the Year in 2018, and numerous other awards and grants (including a donation from Ashton Kutcher).
