“There are truly no words to comfort in such times. People try, intending to ease your anguish and with good intent. As I will do. I am extremely heartbroken at the loss of your oldest child and offer my heartfelt sympathy. Heather and I have a picture Craig and Stacy sent us from a Christmas shoot where both boys are in red sweaters. In our den upstairs, that greets us whenever we reach for a book off the shelf. I can only hope you celebrate the good times and positive memories and find solace.”
