It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas D. Sherman of Amana, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Lyle Sherman; his brother Ron Sherman; and his parents-in-law, Barbara and Darwin Hinz. He is survived by: his mother Ruby Sherman of Amana, IA.; his wife Jaime Hinz of Decorah, IA; his children, Kyle (Christi) and Casey Kallas (Jordan); his sister Lynda Sherman-O'Brien (Matt) of Washington; his sisters-in-law, Linda Sherman of Amana, IA and Cathy Hinz Berg of Wickenburg, AZ; and his grandchildren, Liam, Sophia Sherman, Avery, Cameron and Rory Kallas.
