He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Brockman and Jane Brockman (Bryngelson); his grandparents, Arthur, Cora Bryngelson, Albert and Maurine Brockman; and his great-niece Mary Beth Chitwood.

He is survived by: his wife Bridget Brockman of Amana; his children, Julie and Benjamin; his grandchildren, McKenna Brockman, Corbin Brockman and River Heneke; his great grandchild Kaisen Tigges; his siblings, Christine Cheek (Joe) of Hartwell, Georgia, Deb Danko of Myrtle Beach and Curtis Brockman (Deb) of Wellsburg, Iowa; his close friend Maggie; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
