She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bell and Lucille Bell (Phillips). She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Doyle, Julie Griess (John) and Amy Wilson (Dan); her grandchildren, Heather Doyle Isackson (Bill Ostrum), Connor Griess (Alex Kearney Griess) and Haley Wilson; her great grandchildren, Parker Bell and Maggie Isackson; and her husband English. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Essence of Life Hospice, Iowa Public Radio, or Safe Haven of Iowa County in memory of Carol Lee Bell VanCleave.
