He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Byers and Lennie Geneva Byers (Pearson); and his brother Gerald Byers. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Garrett of Amana; his children, Tom Byers (Lori) of Watkins and Michelle Garoutte (Randy) of Amana; his grandchildren, Cameron Byers, Cody Garoutte, Jacob Garoutte and Nicholas Garoutte; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Henry, Lilly and Dempsey; and his brother Gordon Byers (Lorraine) of Eagen, MN. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
