She was predeceased by: her parents, Palmer Larson and Jean Larson (Mitchell); her siblings-in-law, Steve Carlson and Kim Gacke (Cheryl); her niece Angie; and also, John and Rita Boer.
She is survived by: her husband John Boer; her children, Mike Boer (Janette) of Alvord, Jeff Boer (TaNeal) of Harrisburg, SD and Shauna Kooima (Jared) of Rock Valley; her grandchildren, Braxton (Taya), Hailey, Corbyn, Jada, Lucas, Avery, Isaiah, Krysta (Tristan) and Amanda (Steve); her great grandchildren, Noah, Anna and Waylen; her siblings, Doug Larson (Netta) of Canton and Cheryl Carlson of Harrisburg; and also, Barb Meyer (Earl), Eloise Warner (Wayne), Pam Hanson (Scott) and Paula Jensen (Rich).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Porter Funeral Home - Inwood (102 S Main St, Inwood, IA 51240). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Reformed Church of Inwood (414 Oak St, Inwood, IA 51240).
Marcia's family prefers memorials be directed to the Inwood First Reformed Church.
