She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schacht and Minnie Schacht (Mundt); her parents-in-law, Herman and Mary Schlumbohm; her husband Richard Schlumbohm; her son-in-law Kenneth Heerde; her grandsons, Jeffery Heerde and Cory Heerde; her great grandchild Brady DeSteiger; and her siblings, Raymond, Vernon, Don, Jack Schacht, Leona Mundt, Eleanor Baker, Irene Williams, Vera Nagel, Irma Stettnich and Norma Servold.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jacqueline Heerde of Rock Rapids, IA and Mary Lee LeLoux (Rich) of Alvord, IA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; twenty-nine great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
