We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2023, at the age of 98, Elsie L. Thielvoldt of Alvord, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ranschau and Anna Ranschau (Gelderman); her husband Glen Thielvoldt; her siblings, Ted Ranschau (Irene), Henry Ranschau (Helen), Frank Ranschau (Virginia), Carl Ranschau (Nora), Rich Ranschau (Jane), Marvin Ranschau, Ann Hass (Lee), Martha Baatz (Albert) and Lillian Rielly (John); her daughter-in-law Diva Thielvoldt; her great grandchild Ethan Schacht; and her siblings-in-law, Rodney Grossenburg and Helen Hein (Ed).
She is survived by: her children, Dennis (Irene) of Alvord, Dean of Dickinson, Alan (Sandie) of Rock Valley and Jean Schlotfeldt (Paul) of Alvord; her sisters, Rose Grossenburg of Winner and Elaine Luce (Jim) of Sioux Falls; and her sister-in-law Mae Ranschau of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
