As we bid adieu to Courtney's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Courtney has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Elbers and Gertrude Elbers (Groeneweg); and his wife Myrna De Boer of Hospers. He is survived by: his children, Carla, Brian Koedam of Sioux Center, Mike, Tami Elbers of Rock Valley, Carl and Melissa Elbers of Rock Valley, Iowa. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Porter Funeral Home - Rock Valley (1704 15th St, Rock Valley, IA 51247). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Christian Reformed Church (2020 8th St SE, Rock Valley, IA 51247).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hope Haven International Ministries (HHIM).
