He was predeceased by: his parents, Stan Connell and Lorna Connell (Shikoski); his grandsons, Kieran Thomas, Stanley Pike and Jeffrey Thomas; and his father-in-law Dean Besco.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Stanley Joseph (Michelle), Dr. Matthew (Clara), Andrew (Lisa) and Tim (Kirby); his grandchildren, Stanley William "Will", Jacob, Kaitlyn, Lucas, Noah, Harrison, Kennedy, Caroline, Mason, Bailey and Grace; his sisters, Michelle (Dave Nylen) and Kathy (Nick Steinbach); his mother-in-law Wretha; his stepfather-in-law Dale Rumple; and also, Karla, Delbert Longley, Karol and Randy Johnston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorials may be directed in his honor to the church he loved, Soteria Church.
