He was predeceased by: his son Trent; and the parents of child, Charles and Dolores. He is survived by: his wife Deb; his daughter Tricia Sloan (Kyle); his daughter-in-law Leesa Hauk; his grandchildren, Alexis Boord (Garrett), Kolby Forest, Kade Forest (Kaley), Lestat Day, Tjaden Sloan and Jaxson Sloan; and his siblings, Donna Palafoutas, Lynda Kimberlin (John) and Jerry Forest (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and special friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton's Altoona Funeral Home (105 4th St SW, Altoona, IA 50009).
