With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Katherine Tomlinson of Altoona, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2024 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gould and Clarice Gould; her son Daniel Tomlinson; and her siblings, George Barker, James Gould, Joan Hesseltine and Lillian Gould.
She is survived by: her husband George Tomlinson; her daughters, Katherine Wisgerhof (Greg) and Kristine Mull (Rick); her grandchildren, Taylor Wisgerhof, Allison Dittmer (Briar), Logan Thomas and Hannah Thomas; her brother Ron Gould; her siblings-in-law, Mary Morlan (Bill) and Charles Tomlinson (Rebecca); her nieces, Lois Morton, Rhonda Gould and Mari Gould Slaughter; and her nephew Blaine Morlan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Iles Grandview Park Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
