Norma Jean Seim Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Jean Seim in Altoona, Iowa, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Norma Jean's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Norma Jean has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hanawalt and Neva Hanawalt (Myers); her husbands, Paul Berglund of Stratford, Iowa. and Darryl Seim of Prairie City, Iowa.; her siblings, Bob Hanawalt and Betty Christy; and also, Knudt Olai Seim and Dorothy M. Seim (Kersey).
She is survived by: her cousin Rhonda Sickora (Steve Shafer); her niece Becky Jordan; and her nephew Arne Seim.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hardin Township Cemetery (3201 375th St, Stratford, IA 50249).
