She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Fitchett and Hazel Fitchett; her siblings, Harold Fitchett, Margaret Mann, Marie Stuber and Bob Fitchett; and her children, Steve Freeland and Linda Fitchett.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Waltz (Dave), Jodi Capps (Harold) and Tom Freeland. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50023). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
She was committed to donating blood and plasma to LifeServe, where she donated 53 gallons of blood in her lifetime.
