He was predeceased by: his parents, Gert Haage and Helen Haage. He is survived by: his former wives, Kathy Rider and Kendra Brown; his children, Rielyn Johana and Rowen Theodore; his wife Theo; his sons, Eric (Kathy) and Kirk (Kendra); his grandchildren, Sophie, Rielyn and Rowen; his sister Linda Hawkins (Steven); his nephew Barry Hawkins (Bridgette); and also, Jim Haage (Julie), Kerry (Amanda) and Ryan Haage (Emily).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Iles Grandview Park Chapel. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the Cemetery - Oakwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Unity Lutheran Church, the Gideons International (Lavoy was a member of the East Camp of Des Moines) and/or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
