He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Martes and Catherine Martes; his sisters, Phyllis and Tudy; and his brother-in-law LeRoy Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his son David Martes (Chilan); his grandchildren, Hailey (David), Alleyna, Madeline, Josh, Anna and Livi; his daughter Ann Miller; his grandchildren, Nick, Matt and Emma; and his nephew Jim Henry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
