We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2025, at the age of 87, Glen Ivan Schrock of Altoona, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus J Schrock and Edna Schrock (Troyer); his wife Esther Schultz Schrock; his son Corey Alan Schrock; his siblings, Irene (Maurice Beckler), Florence (Richard Stoltzfus) and Orvan Schrock; his siblings-in-law, Anne Schrock and Reuben Schultz; and his son-in-law Dr. Kevin Eichelberger.
He is survived by: his children, Christy Schrock Eichelberger of Pleasant Hill, IA and Casey Schrock of Des Moines, IA; his siblings, Susie Graber (Merle) of Peoria, AZ and Lawrence Schrock of Englewood, FL; his grandchildren, Corey Eichelberger of Duluth, MN, Katelyn Rassmussen (Kyle) of Minneapolis, MN, Caleb Eichelberger of Iowa City, IA, Elizabeth Wootonn (Joshua) of Atlanta, GA, Chandler Schrock (Perla Kimberly) of Brownsville, TX, Benjamin Schrock of Eugene, OR and Shelby Schrock of Altoona, IA; and his daughter-in-law Jessica (Joe Larscheid). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Townsend Community Center (6615 NE 41st Ave, Altoona, IA 50009). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Remembrance Townsend Community Center (6615 NE 41st Ave, Altoona, IA 50009).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for various mission organizations or the charity of your choice.
