It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas DeKock of Altoona, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolores Elaine "Dee" Achterhof De and Duane E. De Kock; his grandparents, Lawrence "Larry" W. Achterhof and Jeanetta "Jean"; and his uncle Roger D. Achterhof.
He is survived by: his brother Dane DeKock (Cheryl); his son Cole DeKock (Harley); his daughter-in-law Alyssa DeKock; and his grandsons, Cashton and Cody DeKock.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home.
