With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Alan Wildrick (Altoona, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on May 4, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Bonnie and Kenneth Schmitz; and his grandson Jared Peters. He is survived by: his wife Janet Schmitz; his daughters, Kim Tucker (Jeff), Stacy Wildrick (Bill Beukema) and Kristin Peters; his grandchildren, Kaitlin (Austin), Josh (Brittany), Kelsie (Blake), Riley, Reegan, Addison, Makenzie, Brock and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Aubree, Sadie, Kollyns, Finley and Rowyn; and his brother Kent (MaryLou).
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting contributions to Taylor House Hospice and the Lewy Body Dementia Fund of the American Brain Foundation, in loving memory of Alan.
