It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Heathcote (Altoona, Iowa), who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Miller and Karolina Wanner Miller; and her husband Robert R. Heathcote. She is survived by: her sister Anna Duer of Raleigh; and her children, David Heathcote (Virginia), Karolyn Wells (Michael), Roberta Seamen (Steven), Diane Smith (Dan) and Jean Murray (Mark). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Lutheran Church of the Cross, Altoona, Iowa.
