He was predeceased by: his father Howard Pottebaum; and his nephew Alex Pottebaum. He is survived by: his mother Doris Pottebaum (Schwarz) of Alton; his friends, Zac De Haan and Carter Hanson; and his siblings, Tim Pottebaum (Karen) of Sheldon, IA, Mike Pottebaum (Sheila) of Granville, IA, Kathy Meis (Paul) of Oyens, Laurie Krump (Gene) of Worthing, S. D and Jim Pottebaum (Kris) of Alton, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
