It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pete Stoll of Alton, Iowa, born in Hospers, Iowa, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Stoll and Petronella Stoll (Beckmann) of Hospers, IA.; his siblings, Regina Portz (Arnold) and Norbert Stoll; and his sister-in-law Mary Ellen Stoll.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Hoefer of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Robert Stoll (Lori) of Alton, IA, Dan Stoll (Betsy) of Orange City, IA and Julie Ney (Steve) of Primghar, IA; his grandchildren, Greg Stoll of Olathe, KS, Amanda Christoffel (Jordan) of Granville, IA, Amy Jungers (Alex) of Alton, IA, Ryan Stoll (Brooke) of Alton, IA, Ben Ney (Jericho) of Mankato, MN, Matison Mothershead (Cody) of Glenwood, IA and Jake Ney (Ali) of Des Moines, IA; his brother Leo Stoll (Donna) of Hospers, IA; his sister-in-law Helen Stoll of Hospers, IA; and his brother Vincent Stoll of Granville, IA.. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
