With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Amos Glanz of Alton, Iowa, who passed away on November 1, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer and Leona. He is survived by: his significant other Cynthia; his daughters, Kathryn Smith (Jim) of Independence, Anna Builta (William) of Akron and Deborah Van Ommeren (Andrew) of Alton, Iowa; his grandchildren, Halley Glanz (James Baugh), Madison Glanz-Guessford (Zachary Reynolds), Christian Glanz, Zander Smith (Myranda), Alyssa Glanz and Jazlyn Smith; his great grandchildren, Ariana Ramon, Remy and Banks Reynolds; and his sisters, Barbara Schreffler (Jim) and Betty Sadowski (Thomas). He is also survived by many loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
