He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Schouten and Alma Jean Schouten (Kroon); his wife Susan Elizabeth Anderson of Alton; his children, Tyler (Kandice) of Bedford, Casey (Shelly) and Shelby of Sioux Falls; his stepsons, Josh (Evalie) of Woodbury, Minnesota, Drew (Alli) of Des Moines and Nick (Miranda) of Le Mars; his siblings, Deb (Larry Vander Weide), Sally (Dick Koel), Kathy (Rod Van Beek) and Paul Schouten of Los Angeles, California; and his grandchildren, Kate, Ryott, Rebel, Emmeri, Isaiah, Zach, Adyn and Natalie.
