With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David G. Woodfield of Alton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy David leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Woodfield and Flossie E. Woodfield (Mayes); and his siblings, Grace E. Baker and Robert J. Woodfield. He is survived by: his husband Jeff of Alton; and his siblings, Edward A. "Eddie" Woodfield and Sue Powell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In more recent years, David faced a challenging battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
