He is survived by: his wife Susan Jean Hetrick; his children, Audrey Friedrich of Storm Lake, Scott (Carol Friedrich) of Alta and Howard Friedrich of Alta; his grandson Matthew (Angie Friedrich) of Sioux Rapids; and his siblings-in-law, Don Caboth of Alta and Phyllis Friedrich of Algona. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
