He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Recker and Ida Recker (Willenborg); his children, Gary, James and Donna; and his siblings, Ed, Elmer, Rosie, Leonard, Herb, Clara and Art.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Gansen of Alta Vista, IA; his children, Steve Recker (Karen Ptacek) of Alta Vista, IA, Sharon Moreno (David) of Chino Valley, AZ, Shirley Babcock (Steve) of New Hampton, IA and Beverly Christeson (Rick) of Manly, IA; his daughter-in-law Nyla Recker of Alta Vista; and his grandchildren, Jesse, Keith, James, Crystal and Michael. He is also survived by his great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
