He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben B. Westendorf and Isabelle Westendorf (DeBower); and his brother Wayne Westendorf. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Jean Christians; his children, Rebecca Jean Coffin of Des Moines, Robert James (Carol Westendorf) of Radcliffe and Ryan Jason Westendorf of Troy; his grandchildren, Joseph, Jason Coffin, Samantha Lee (Malieck), Pamela Westendorf and Benjamin Westendorf (Megan Carr); and his close friend Susan Myers of Parkersburg.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing should be maintained during the visitation and at the funeral service.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the "Westendorf Children" who plan to memorialize their father with memorial pavers on the Butler County Fairgrounds and at Cedar Valley DeVita Center of Waverly.
