She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Harms and Doris Harms (Mortvedt); her brother Ted Harms; and her brother-in-law James DeBower. She is survived by: her former spouse Russell Dean DeBower; her husband Russ DeBower of Allison; her children, Brian DeBower (Linda) of Aplington and Betsy DeBower (Mark Miller) of Burlington, Iowa; her sister Anne Peterson (Steve); and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth DeBower (Margaret) and Mary DeBower. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Hospice or to your own favorite charity.
