Hanson; his children, Robert Roster (Karen) of Cedar Falls, Dennis Roster (Joyce) of Aplington, Donald John Roster of Cedar Falls and Donna Adelmund (Bobby Caston) of Cedar Falls; and his siblings, Bill Roster of Orlando, FL, Shirley Clayton of Oklahoma City, OK., Marge Blickenderfer of Oklahoma City, OK., Stella Wilbur of Oklahoma City, OK., Donna Cambridge of Oklahoma City, OK. and June Smith of Oklahoma City, OK.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
