She was predeceased by: her parents, Nanne Franken and Anna Franken (Hartman); and her siblings, Janet Kiefer, Helen Mennen and Bernard Franken.
She is survived by: her sons, Eric V. Thran of Des Moines and Anthony L. Thran of Nashua, Iowa; her granddaughter Jessica Pfitzer of Sturgis; her great grandchildren, Julia and Josiah Pfitzer; and her sister Berdene Miller (Paul). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
