He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Willemsen and Gertrude Willemsen (Vonk); and his brother Harlan Willemsen. He is survived by: his girlfriend Judy Walther of Allison; his children, Teresa Beyer, Gary Willemsen, Bruce Willemsen, Caroline Gehrls and Annie VanderWerff; and his close friends, Mike, Deb Brown, Fred and Candace Baltz.
