She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Hovenga and Grace Hovenga (Meinders); her son Dale Deuell; her siblings, Bernice Freeman (Lavern) and Donald Hovenga; her nephews, Lee Deuell and Henry Hovenga; and her brother-in-law Don Deuell (Carrie).
She is survived by: her husband Dean B. Deuell; her daughter Sheila Hill (Steve); her grandchildren, Matt Hill (Niki), A. J. Hill (Sarah) and Jen Neely (Mark); her daughter-in-law Deb Deuell; her grandchildren, Dana Hinders (Chris) and Daniel Deuell (Aimee); and her sister-in-law LaVonne Hovenga. She is also survived by many friends and neighbors.
