She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob DeGroote and Emma DeGroote (Hinders); her granddaughter Emmalee Jacobs; and her siblings, Clarence, Henry, Jake, Walter DeGroote, Ann Bartell, Hilda Sells, Dorothy Jans, Annette Sessler, Darlene Vance and Ruth Busching.
She is survived by: her husband James of Allison; her children, Brad Jacobs (Ann) of Urbana, Brian Jacobs (Susie) of Allison and Amy Tharp (John) of Waverly, Iowa; her grandchildren, Carlynn Stachura (Todd), Dalton Jacobs (Hailey), Jamie Landers (Ethan), Blake Jacobs, Kayla Marks (Cody), Marcy Jacobs and Courtney Tharp; her great grandchildren, Hadley and Grayson Landers; and her siblings-in-law, Frank Vance and Dottye DeGroote.
