It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Jeanne Eggink of Allendorf, Iowa, born in Orange City, Iowa, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stander and Henrietta Stander (Muilenberg); her husband Charlie Eggink; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Eggink and Curtis Ackerman.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Rollefson (Rich) of Sibley, IA, Leroy Eggink (Kolette) of Sibley, IA, Rodney Eggink of Zimmerman, MN, Twila Heemstra (Kevin) of Ocheyedan, IA and Keith Eggink (Karin) of Jackson, MN; her siblings, Ruth De Haan (Stan) of Orange City and Jack Stander (Norma) of Orange City; and her siblings-in-law, Luella Eggink of Sibley, IA, Berdena Ackerman of Minneapolis, MN and Henry (Irene).
