It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Berte of Algona, Iowa, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Berte and Dorothy Berte (Fuhrman); his brother Larry Berte; and his niece Candice Berte. He is survived by: his wife Michele Miller; his children, Courtney and Dylan Berte of Algona; his brothers, Ron Berte of Flowermound, TX and Allen Berte (Connie) of Algona; his nephews, Larry Berte (Rachel), Michael Berte (Jennifer) and Adam Berte; and his pets, Duke and Tucker. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be 4:00 – 7:00 PM Monday at Lentz Funeral Home in Algona with masks required and social distancing practices being followed.
