She was predeceased by: her husband Duane Charles Metzger; her parents, Gustav Potthoff and Hilka "Helen" Potthoff (Timmer); her son Darwin; her great grandchild Harley; and her siblings, Vern, Ray and Helen Schwartz.
She is survived by: her children, Conley Metzger (Diane) of Lone Rock and Gloria O'Leary (Dan) of Emmetsburg. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
