She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Gronbach and Minnie Gronbach (Helmers); her siblings, Lee Gronbach (Fern), Donna Lemkee and Annabelle Long (Glen); her parents-in-law, Leo and Nellie Knoer; and her son-in-law Brett Benson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Meyer (Terry) of Rochester, MN, Diane Avery of Des Moines, IA, Cheryl Benson of Crystal, MN and Cindy Knoer of Des Moines, IA; her husband George Knoer of Algona, IA; and her grandchildren, Andy Vitzthum (Kari), David Meyer (Dyana), Nicholas Avery (Kelli), Jacob Avery (Kristin), Amy Sleiter (Ty), Jennifer Traub (Brad) and Julie Stebbins (Brandon). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
