He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Schaffer and Violet Schaffer (Smith) of Clarion; his wife Cindy Lehman; his sons, Gary Schaffer (Stacy) of Algona and Alex Schaffer of Algona; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Aubrey and Ashlynn Schaffer; and his siblings, Jim Schaffer (Cindy) of Clarion, Bobby Schaffer (Ronda) of Clarion, Rick Schaffer (Susan Sherman) of Clarion, Shari Lewellyn (Rich) of Cedar Falls and Chris Thompson (Danny) of Goldfield.
