It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon D. Kenne (Algona, Iowa), born in Humboldt, Iowa, who passed away on July 29, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillon Patton and Grace Patton (George); her husband Marvin Kenne; and her sister Colleen Greene. She is survived by: her children, Matt Kenne (Karla) of Algona, Paul Kenne (Marcia) of Algona, Pete Kenne (Lisa) of Ankeny, Ann Kenne of St. Paul, MN, Tom Kenne (Deb) of Algona and Kris Cathcart (Steve) of Gowrie; her grandchildren, Erinn Garman (Jim), Emillie Brandt (Ryan), Melissa Olson (Justin), Matthew Metzen, Michael Metzen (Courtney), Martin Metzen (Stacy), Mitchell Kenne, Mollie Kenne, Nathaniel Kenne (Kasandra), Alex Kenne (Amanda), Nicole Kenne, Brad Cathcart (Anita) and Andy Cathcart (Mindy); and her brother-in-law Irvin Kenne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family which they will donate to different charities in Sharon's name.
