He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Bird of Algona; his children, Bruce Keith (Mary) of Algona, Julie Reed (John) of Algona, Paula Elliott (Bruce) of Algona, Kimberly Reese (Jon) of Springfield, MO, Rebecca Dow (Dave) of Emmetsburg and Alycia Wolterman (Cal) of Swea City; his sister Dixie Eichelberger (Don) of Algona; and his brother-in-law Larry Klein.
