He is survived by: his wife Patricia Watson of Algona; his children, Rick Watson of McMinnville, OR and Tricia Carlson (Steve) of Algona; his grandchildren, Brandon Bjustrom (Kelli Jo) of Mount Ayr, IA and Claire Watson of McMinnville, OR; and his great grandchildren, Ambraya and Londyn Bjustrom of Mount Ayr, IA..

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, social distancing practices will be followed.

He suffered from complications of Parkinson's disease.
