We bid farewell to Robert E. Gust (Algona, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 16, 2025 at the age of 86. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gust and Leila Gust (Mumm); his wife Susie; his daughter Lara; his sister Jeanne Sadler; and his nephew Eddie Beinke.
He is survived by: his children, Constanse "Connie" Mechler (Dale) of Algona, IA and Diane Long (Tom) of Cedar Rapids, IA; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Joan, Hannah, Emily and Brendon; and his sister Janet Beinke of Moscow, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wilton American Legion Post #584.
