He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Buscher and Marie Buscher (Schuller); his children, Mickey and Marilyn; his son-in-law Ronald Kohlhaas; and his siblings, Donnie, Ray, Jack, Dick Buscher, Catherine Reeve and Jeannette McEnroe.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Kunz; his children, Linda Kohlhaas of Benton, IL, Becky Grandgenett (Pat) of Algona and Jerry Buscher (Mary) of Algona; his siblings, Jim, Tom, Ron (Mary), Joe (Chris), Larry, Gib Buscher (Bev) and Mary Jo Studer (Merlin); and his sister-in-law Virginia Buscher.
