She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thul and Annie Thul (Kayser) of Bode, Iowa.; her husband Milford Plathe of Irvington; her daughter Darlene; her son-in-law Richard; her brothers, Richard and Eugene; her sisters-in-law, Betty and Emma; and also, Clara, Amanda, Sylvester and Raymond.
She is survived by: her daughter Angie Mirrione (Matt); her grandchildren, Madeline and Peter; her daughter Andrea Learned; her grandchildren, Trey, Riley and Ryker; her children, Kathy Plathe of Chaska, MN and Matt Hewitt (Molly) of Edina, MN; her grandchildren, Mary Kate, Maggie and Max; her daughter Katie Adams (Eric) of Chaska, MN; her grandchildren, Ellen, Bennett, Finnian, Killian and Kristie Altstatt (Ben); her great grandchildren, Piper, Raleigh and Rowan; her grandson Robert Plathe (Carol) of Irvington, IA; her great grandchildren, Bobby (Stephanie) and Emma; her grandchild Jen Paidosh (Steve) of Orono, MN; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Kieran and Olivia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Seton Elementary School in honor of Rita.
