He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sarchet and Bertha Sarchet (Spear); his wife Mary Sarita Jergens; his daughter-in-law Jodie Sarchet; and his siblings, Howard, Betty and Letty.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Sarchet (Bryan Swartzel) of Johnston, Randy Sarchet of Valley Spring, SD and Sandy Sarchet (Jeff Probasco) of Algona; his grandchildren, Tasha Ludwig (Clint), Nicole Schneider (Christian), Dustin White (Jenna Reding), Brittney Johnson (Robert), Tylor Sarchet (Kelsey), Karley, Kaleb, Kaylen, Keegan, Kooper Sarchet, Jacob Jergenson (Marisa), Bronson, Landon, Nolan Jergenson and Haylen Wellman; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Taylor of Des Moines and Joan Barie of Estherville. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
